- Fields that hold one of several shapes, and links to pages, delivered as deep as a site asks.
- Each page has an address in each language, with redirects when one changes.
- TypeScript types for a project: moteur types writes them from a channel, and --check fails when they fall behind.
- New projects start with a site channel, and a key alone is enough to read it.
- Import bundles bring in models, files, pages and entries all at once, or nothing. Any project exports as one.
- A project’s preview address: static sites show drafts through one route.
- Deploy hooks that rebuild the site when content is published.
- Sign up and sign in with a code sent by email, no password needed.
- Two-step sign-in, with recovery codes.
- Forms keep robots out with a time trap and a captcha: Turnstile, hCaptcha or reCAPTCHA.
- Plugins can add form actions, field checks and spam checks, and read, keep or erase submissions.
- Project credentials stay out of project.json and Git, encrypted with the server’s key.
- Push a project’s history to a private Git remote, with a token only for that.
- The hosted MCP server uploads files from a web address or sent inline, and never touches its own disk.
- Sites never get drafts, notes or other channels’ entries.

- Agents act for people: their changes read “Louise Gagnon via Claude Code”.
- Moteur for AI agents: an MCP server with every operation as a tool.
- Every API operation is also a command in the moteur CLI.
- Bring back an earlier version of an entry, a page or a layout.
- The media library, with its own API.
- Six roles, set per project: writer, translator, reviewer, admin, developer and billing.
- Plan limits, with a plain answer when a project reaches one.
- A draft may leave required fields empty. Review and publishing ask for them.
- Approving a review publishes the entry.
- Lists of entries with search, filters, sorting and grouping.
- Scheduled publishing, through the API and the client.
- A plugin architecture, and an SDK for Studio plugins.
- Outbound webhooks can’t be aimed at addresses inside a private network.
- HTML iframes and embeds are off unless a project allows them.
- Self-hosted servers name the sites allowed to call the API. Nothing is allowed by default.
- One password rule everywhere: 8 to 200 characters.
28 March 20262026.3.28
- Several API keys per project, each limited to the sites you name.
- Sign-ins slow down after repeated failures on the same email.
- A /health address for load balancers.
- Calendar versions for every @moteurio package: 2026.3.28 is the 28th of March 2026.
